Joanna Hope Womack Stone, 56, of Tifton passed away Monday, July 1, 2024, at her residence. A graveside funeral service will be held for Mrs. Stone at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 6, 2024, at Summers Chapel Cemetery in Worth County, where she will be laid to rest. The Rev. Conway Harris will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 6, 2024, immediately following the graveside service at Summers Chapel Cemetery in Worth County.
Greg Taylor, Terrell Stone, T. J. Frye, John Hicks, Brian Cooper and John Goodwin will serve as pallbearers.
Born April 14, 1968, in Tifton, Mrs. Stone was the daughter of the late Emory Womack and Brenda Gail Moore Womack. She was a homemaker; and she was a member of Tift Avenue Missionary Baptist Church.
Mrs. Stone is survived by her husband, Roger Stone of Tifton; one brother, Brett Womack of Tifton; and one sister, Sonya Gail Cowart of Chula.
