Obituary

It is with the heaviest heart to announce Katie Lee Sharron, 36, of Wrentham MA, passed away, unexpectedly June 29, 2024. Katie was born on June 24,1988 to Gayle and Keith M. Sharron.

She attended King Philip High School, class of 2006 where she was a varsity cheerleader and attended Starline School of Dance from the age of three. She furthered her education receiving her bachelor's degree in business from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, class of 2021 and worked in high fashion retail and the services industry while achieving her degree. She also participated in volunteer work for children in foster care.

Katie had a funny personality, infectious laugh and the biggest most beautiful smile and big brown eyes that would light up any room. She was strong, ambitious and persevered through obstacles. Very kind natured, with several passions-- her hands were skilled at many things. She loved her precious vegetable garden and plants, cooking delicious meals and learning new recipes. She enjoyed nature and bird watching, learning about all the different species. She adored her dogs who were basically her shadow, always by her side wherever she was. Katie was also very crafty and creative, making decorations and wreaths from things in her yard --had an eye for decorating any space and was a great homemaker. She was smart, hardworking, and determined, always putting forth her best effort in her endeavors.

Katie was not only beautiful, but very loving with a giant heart, thoughtful, sincere and open minded with trying something new. She always welcomed anyone with open arms. She will be forever missed by all who knew and loved her. We are left with a hole in our hearts that can never be filled. Our days will never be the same.

Katie was the granddaughter of the late Frank M. and Ruth E. Sharron and Bryan and Janet Beetlestone, beloved fur baby Rowen, or "Ro" as she called him.

She is survived by her parents, sister Melissa A. Sharron of Foxboro MA, brother Keith E. Sharron (Beth) of Prosperity SC, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. on Friday July 5, 2024 from 4-7PM.
