Jenna B. Hayner, 53

Jenna B. Hayner, age 53, a lifelong resident of Mansfield, passed away at home on Sunday, June 30, 2024.

Born in Attleboro, MA on August 26, 1970, she was a loving daughter of Douglas Hayner of Boothbay Harbor, Maine and the late Rita (Smith) Dillon. She was the much-loved stepdaughter of Don Dillon of Mansfield.

Jenna grew up in Mansfield, was educated in Mansfield Schools and was a graduate of Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School in Easton. She continued her education at the Blaine Beauty School in Boston and worked as a hairdresser for several area hair salons.

Jenna loved spending time with her adoring family and her faithful dogs “Bugsy” and the late “Bonez”. She had a special interest in tattoo artistry, antiquing, drawing, sketching, the outdoors, and interior and exterior design. Her other hobbies included motorcycling, fishing, kayaking, canoeing and traveling with her stepfather Don and her late mother Rita.

She will be forever missed by all who knew and loved her and the memories she created in life will live on in their hearts forever.

In addition to her father and stepfather, she is survived by her devoted sister Elizabeth (Hayner) Martinez and her husband Richard Salz of Kingston and stepsister Susan White and her husband Daniel of Stoughton. She was the cherished aunt of Caitlin Martinez of Kingston and is also survived by her treasured aunts, uncles and cousins.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday, July 7th from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main Street, Mansfield.

Her funeral procession will form on Monday, July 8th at 10:00 A.M. from the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel at Knollwood Memorial Park, 321 High Street in Canton. Those wishing not to be in the funeral procession, may go directly to the cemetery chapel on Monday morning.
