HOLLIS / WATERBORO - Michael Allen Perreault, age 70, passed away on June 30, 2024 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Biddeford, Maine on August 27, 1953, a son of the late Emery and Laurette (Marcotte) Perreault. Mike was a 3-sport athlete at St. Louis High School and Biddeford High School and was named co-captain of the football team his senior year. He was nicknamed "The Magician" and quarterbacked his team to the State Championship game in the first season that cross-town rivals St. Louis High School and Biddeford High School combined. After graduating from Biddeford High School, Mike went on to start his 27 year career at the phone company. He started off as a splice service technician and worked his way up to the Director of Operations for all of New Hampshire and Vermont and retired in 1999. Mike was an avid golfer and enjoyed taking his dogs for walks in the forest & beach, completing puzzles, reading, watching his grandkids play sports / activities and spending time with his beloved family. He is predeceased by a sister Suzanne Perreault who passed away in 2010. Mike is survived by; his sister Gert Maurice of Saco; his brother Ron Perreault of Biddeford; his beloved wife, Gladys (Luce) Perreault; his children Missy (Perreault) Holley of Hollis, Kim Perreault of Scarborough, Steve Perreault and his wife Karen of Ellington, CT, and Trevor Luce and his wife Maggie of Casco; his nine grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 6 from 11am - 2pm at the Chad E. Poitras Cremation and Funeral Service Chapel, 498 Long Plains Road, Buxton, ME. A Celebration of Life reception will be held at his daughter, Kim's, house in Scarborough, from 3pm - 7pm for family and friends.
