New Bedford – Geraldine Tenters, age 65, of Wareham, died Saturday, July 22, 2006 after a brief illness. She was the daughter of the late Stasia (Ciborowski) Tenters formerly of New Bedford. Miss Tenters was the sister of Jacqueline “Jackie” Tenters and Stanley Tenters both of New Bedford, the aunt of James King of Arizona and Thomas King of Alaska and the sister of the late Robert Tenters.
Miss Tenters was born in Boston and moved to Lansing, MI, to attend Michigan State. She then lived there for over thirty years working for Auto Qwners Insurance as a training supervisor. She was living in Wareham the past eight years. Geraldine belonged to the “Our Lady, Star of the Sea”, Lay Carmelite Community.
Relatives and Friends are invited to Miss Tenters’ Mass of Christian Burial being held at St. Lawrence the Martyr Church, Tuesday at 10 A.M. Burial will be private. Everyone is asked to please meet at the church at least 15 minutes before the service.
