LACONIA ---- Dian Delore Potter, 91, of Court Street, passed away on Friday, June 28, 2024 at St. Francis Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, with loved ones by her side.
Dian was born on January 13, 1933, in Lowell, MA the daughter of the late Jonathan Forrest Williams and Orintha Ten Broeck (Robinson) Williams.
She is predeceased by her husband, Donald Potter, son Jonathan Williams, daughter Tammy Bull, grandson Mark Mauzy, great-granddaughters Daelynn and Havana O’Flaherty, brothers, David Williams and Russell Williams, sister Beverly Smith, and nephews David and Mark Williams.
Dian is survived by 8 children, Richard and Judi Potter of Belmont, NH, Donna and Robert Benwell of Belmont, NH, Gail and Ken Foden of Belmont, NH, Tina and Mike Girard of Vero Beach, FL, Denise Potter of Gilford, NH, Sherry and Kevin Blain of Vero Beach, FL, Stephen and Jill Potter of Alexandria, NH and Nathan Potter of Laconia, NH. She is also survived by her brothers Forrest and Donald Williams and her sister Irene Renaud, along with several nieces and nephews.
Dian loved being a mother of 10, grandmother of 19, and a great-grandmother of 39. She loved to knit baby blankets and sweaters. Dian was known for her sense of humor, her lipstick, and her 100’s of earrings. What brought Dian comfort was her love for her God Jehovah and the hope of a better world that He promises in His word the Bible.
