Obituary

Carolyn Mann Swanson, 87, beloved daughter, sister, mother, niece, aunt,
grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother, passed away
peacefully on June 13 2024 at her home in Baldwinville MA.

She was surrounded by her immediate and closest family members.
She is preceded by her dad, Normyle, and her mom Marion, brother Raymond,
husband Edmund, daughter Gloria, grandson Jeremy, and her soul mate Robert I
Proctor ll.

Carolyn was born on May 5 1937 in Gardner Mass. to Normyle Charles Mann
and Marion Stockwell Mann.

She grew up, on Mill Street, in Baldwinville with her parents and her brother
Raymond.

In 1956, she married Edmund Walter Swanson, together they brought 4 children
into the world: Chuck, Shelley, Marjorie, and Gloria.

They went on to bless her back with 13 grandchildren: Christopher, Jeremy,
Richard, Joshua, Earlene, Michelle, Charlene, Matthew, Kyle, Nicole, Tiffany,
Brittany, and David.

To continue with 14 great grandchildren: Shyla, Annabelle, Abigail, Jaime,
Russell, Jessie, Nikolai, Kallie, April, Arianna, Ava, Autumn, and the twins Austin
and Aydin.

She leaves behind one great great grandchild, Oliver.
Carolyn also leaves behind one nephew, Jonathan Mann.
Also leaving behind her daily companion, Dora.

Carolyn was a lifelong seamstress, and she loved spending time at the ocean,
stretched out in the sun while reading a book and enjoying a cold beer and of
course, eating lobsters.

Carolyn worked at Fitzgerald Apple Farm, Carrington Holiday Decorations, and
U.C. Press

Mom loved sitting in the morning sun having the morning coffee with her best
friend, Grace. She would sometimes take long walks on the rolling hills behind
the family house in the country.

A few of her favorite things are yellow ribbons and roses.

A memorial and celebration of life services will be held at the First
Baptist Church, located at 117 East Main St., Westminster, MA on
Saturday, July 6 2024 11 am

Pastor Chris Brown will officiate
There will be light refreshments and time to visit.

Come tie a yellow ribbon around the ole oak tree
