Tsiaras, of Middleboro, formerly of Brockton, July 21, 2006, Demetrios I. “Jimmy” Tsiaras, 76 years. Father of Demetra “Deedee” McDonald and her husband Walter, Philip and George Tsiaras all of Middleboro and the late Theresa “Toula” Wynott.

Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Wednesday at 9am. Funeral Service in the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 457 Oak Street Brockton at 10am. Obituary Information

Demetrios I. “Jimmy” Tsiaras died Friday evening at Life Care Center of West Bridgewater after a brief illness. Born in Yugoslavia, he was raised in Thessaloniki, Greece son of the late Ipocrates and Malamati Tsiaras. He was educated in Greece and moved with his family to Brockton in 1956. He had been employed at the Dartmouth Shoe Company, Christy’s Market and had been the proprietor of Lil Peach/Tedeschi Convenience Store on the East Side since 1974. He enjoyed fishing, camping and hunting and was a sports fan, especially of soccer.

He is survived by his daughter Demetra “Deedee” McDonald and her husband Walter, of Middleboro, two sons Philip and George Tsiaras both of Middleboro, 9 grandchildren, two nephews, one brother George Tsiaras of Athens, Greece, one sister Lola Kottis also of Athens Greece and his former wife Marlene O’Connor of Manomet. He was the husband of the late Carol (Kard) Tsiaras, father of the late Theresa “Toula” Wynott, and brother of the late Costa “Charlie” Tsiaras.
