LYMAN- Laurie Sousa Mead passed away peacefully at home after a lengthy illness on June 26, 2024, surrounded by her daughter Kristle Weadick, her son-in-law Josh Martino and many family members. She will be remembered by her husband Jim Mead, siblings Kenneth, Becky (in spirit), Leslie, Michael, Allison, Christine, Carmel, William, Gigi and Paul, their spouses, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A well respected employee, Laurie had a long work history employed in human resources and earned a college degree during that time.
She will be remembered for her witty sense of humor, generosity, her love of music, dance, books and a good movie. She had a passion for rescuing dogs in need and adopted many over her lifetime.
