Michael Reid Harrison, Sr., 69, of Lenox passed away Thursday, June 27, 2024, at Tift Regional Medical Center. A private funeral service and burial will be held for Mr. Harrison at a later date.
Born October 26, 1954, in Tift County, Mr. Harrison was the son of the late Casey Harrison and Sandra Hornbuckle Harrison Meadows. Before retiring, he was the owner and operator of Harrison Construction in Tifton; and he was a member of the Nashville Church of God.
Mr. Harrison is survived by his wife, LaNell Whitley Harrison of Lenox; one son, Michael Reid Harrison, II of Omega; two daughters and one son-in-law, Jennifer Bennett Smith of Tifton and Rebecca and Pate Kincaid of Greenville, South Carolina; two step-daughters and their husband, Katina and Daryl Weber of Roswell and Karen and Adam Barnett of Gray; two brothers, Jeff Harrison of Irwin County and Gary Harrison of Omega; one sister, Diane Johnston of Orlando, Florida; his step-mother, Beverly Harrison; three step-sisters; and several grandchildren.
