Susan L. Desrosiers, 80

Dateline: Norton, MA

Susan L. (LaGreca) Desrosiers, age 80, of Norton, passed away peacefully at the Hope Health Hospice Center in Providence, surrounded by her loved ones, on Thursday, June 27, 2024. She was born on April 22, 1944, in Attleboro, MA, and had been a longtime resident of Norton. Susan was the beloved wife of Robert H. Desrosiers, Sr., with whom she shared 60 years of marriage. She was a loving daughter of the late Angelo, Sr. and Ida (Diussa) LaGreca. She the devoted mother of the late twin sons, Kevin and Brian Desrosiers. She was the dear sister of the late John Snyder and sister-in-law of the late Arthur Desrosiers, Jr. and Harry Westman.

Susan dedicated over 22 years of her career to the New England Patriots, where she served as a Financial Assistant before retiring. An avid Patriots fan, she passionately followed their journey, including attending several Super Bowls. Susan's love extended deeply to her family, whom she cherished, and to her country.

Active in her community and church life, Susan contributed tirelessly. She began her involvement at Saint. Mary’s Catholic Church in Norton, later extending to Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church and Saint. Vincent de Paul, before returning full circle to Saint Mary’s in Norton. She participated actively in the choir, served as a Eucharistic Minister, organized Thanksgiving dinners for the homeless, and volunteered with the Norton Veterans Service Department, placing American Flags at local cemeteries.

Susan is survived by her devoted and loving husband, Robert H. Desrosiers, Sr.; her son, Robert H. Desrosiers, Jr.; grandchildren Raegan Lee Nogues and her husband Dom, Sein Desrosiers and Sydney Lee Desrosiers; her sisters, Jill Desrosiers and Trudy Westman; her brother, Angelo LaGreca, Jr and his wife Brucene.; as well as several generations of loving nieces and nephews. At the time of her death, Susan was anticipating the birth of her first great grandchild

Her Funeral Mass, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be celebrated on Saturday, July 6th at 12:00 Noon in Saint Mary’s Church, 1 Power Street, Norton. Burial will follow at the Timothy Plain Cemetery in Norton.

Visiting hours will be held prior to the Funeral Mass on Saturday morning from 9:30-11:30 A.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home, 19 Clapp Street (Off Route 140, Taunton Avenue) Norton.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Susan's memory may be made to Hope Health Hospice, with checks payable to "Hope Health Hospice" and "Memory of Susan Desrosiers" noted in the memo line, sent to 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904.
