Starla Diana Joan Doucette died Sunday, June 9th, 2024 at Rhode Island Hospital from complications due to a massive stroke.
Born in Laconia, NH on August 3rd, 1985, the daughter of Faith (Lacroix) Doucette and Charles Edward Doucette.
Starla worked for many years in the service industry until recently when she landed her dream job working with children at Bright Beginnings Learning Center. Starla enjoyed spending time with her children, road trips (she especially loved the White Mountains), camping, coloring, yard sales, and Halloween.
Starla is survived by a son, Tyson Doucette; a daughter, Katelin Malloy-Doucette; and a stepson, Josh Thompson. She is also survived by a sister, Melanie Doucette of Massachusetts; four brothers, Ojay Doucette and his wife, Corianna Doucette of Benton, ME; Shane Doucette of Massachusetts; Shawn Doucette of Massachusetts; and Adam Doucette of Massachusetts; Many nieces and nephews; her partner Mellinda DeTeves of Massachusetts; as well as many friends who were like family to her.
A memorial service will be held at 5pm at 255 Trafton Rd, Waterville, ME on Saturday, June 29th, 2024.
