Curtis Lee Smith was born June 25th, 1952 and passed away at the young age of 71 years. He passed peacefully with his daughter Jennifer Rogers, granddaughter Jesekah Rogers and great-grandson Hyndrix Rogers at his side.
Curt was preceded by the love of his life, his wife of 39 years Mary Kathleen Smith, parents Jack and Maxine Smith and his sister Susan Novickas.
Curt owned a successful flooring business and showed many the in/outs of the trade. He enjoyed NASCAR, NFL (Chargers) and camping. His love was undeniably his family. He is survived by his children Tricia Tucker (Greg), Jennifer Rogers, Curtis Smith Jr (Kathy), Robert Simons and Scott Smith. Grandchildren included Rebekah, Jesekah, Thomas, Amelia, Paige, Kelly, Bella and Curtis. He was also blessed with his great-grandson Hyndrix.
Those that knew Curt knew his heart was larger than life. He was a friend to all, always happy, never met a stranger and just loved everyone.
Graveside service will be held July 26th, 2024 9:00 am at Pierce Brothers Santa Paula Cemetery 380 Cemetery Road, Santa Paula, CA 93060. Friends and family are welcome.
