Marguerite “Peggy” Trulio a lifelong resident of Ossining died
on June 23, 2024. She was 101.
Peggy was born July 26, 1922, in Ossining NY to
George and Marguerite Robinson Bowers.
She was educated in and graduated from Ossining High School.
On July 2, 1942, she married John A. Trulio also of Ossining.
Peggy worked as secretary for the headmaster at the
Scarborough School for many years.
She was a parishioner of St. Ann’s Church, serving as a
Eucharistic Minister, a weekly counter, and volunteered whenever needed.
She was also involved in bridge playing at the Ossining Women’s Club.
Peggy, fondly known as “Giggy,” was truly devoted to family and friends.
She was always the life of a party and her homemade desserts followed.
Besides cherished memories, her family will be left with beautifully crafted
hand knitted sweaters and blankets that were made with love.
She is survived by her son John (Carol) Trulio, Jr., daughters
Susan (Dave) DeSousa, Sandy (Fred) Rotella all of Ossining, N.Y.
Grandchildren Jason, Rebecca, Robin and Denise. Great-grand
children Avery, Karlee, Genesis, Edison, Jaiden and Hailey.
Her beloved husband John A. Trulio, Sr. passed away in 2010.
Mass will be held at St. Ann’s Church, Ossining on July 9th at 10am.
Interment will follow at St. Augustine Cemetery.
