Pedro Luis Figueroa Castillo, “Figgy”, left this world on June 20, 2024, as the result of an anoxic brain injury.
Pedro was born on May 19, 1967, on Ponce, PR. His family will miss his sense of humor, his big personality, his kind, giving heart and his smile.
Pedro leaves behind his beloved mother, Maria I. Figueroa Castillo and his brothers Jose Luis Figueroa, Luis A. Figueroa “Freddy”, Carlos R. Figueroa as well as his sisters Santos M. Figueroa, Lourdes M. Figueroa, Miriam I. Figueroa, Migdalia Figueroa and Isabellita Figueroa as well as a daughter, Natasha Marie Halle. Pedro also leaves many, many nieces and nephews. Furthermore, Pedro leaves his partner, Priscilla Hine, who will miss him forever.
Pedro was predeceased by his father, Ermitaño Pedro Figueroa, his brothers, Angel Luis Figueroa, Felix Juan Santiago, Walter Figueroa, his sister Minerva Figueroa and Pedro like all sports but loved football, especially the Philadelphia Eagles. He also loved to fish in the Connecticut River and ride his moped.
The family would like to thank the staff at Hartford Hospital, particularly the 12th floor, for their arduous but kind and compassionate care of Pedro.

Visitation will be in the chapel of Hartford Community Funeral Home & Cremation 380 Maple Avenue, Hartford on Wednesday June 27, 2024, from 3 p.m. – 5 p.m... Burial will be private.
