Alice “Faye” Taylor Massey, 80, of Tifton passed away Monday, June 24, 2024, at Pruitt Hospice/Magnolia Manor in Moultrie. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 28, 2024, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Joseph L. Crumley officiating. Mrs. Massey will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 28, 2024, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service.
Mrs. Massey’s nephews will serve as pallbearers.
Born on August 30, 1943, in Macon, Mrs. Massey was the daughter of the late Marshall Elmo Taylor and Sara Eason Blanchard. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald Leroy Massey. She was a retired nurse; and she was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Tifton.
Mrs. Massey is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Becky Massey of Tifton; one daughter, Michele Massey (Freddie Gwalthney) of Tifton; one brother, Tommy Taylor of Lenox; one sister, Dean Morris of Sylvester; and five grandchildren, Zach Weeks, Joe Potash, Emily Potash, Sara Beth Massey and Kip Courtoy.
