Obituary

AUBURN___Gerald E. “Gerry” LeBlanc, 80, of Auburn passed away Friday June 21, 2024 in UMASS – Memorial Medical Center, University Campus, Worcester. His beloved wife of 41 years. Elaine M. (Loiselle) LeBlanc died in 2008.

He is survived by relatives and good friends and was also predeceased by his companion, Nancy Godek on March 24, 2024. He was born in Southbridge one of four sons to the late Alphonse and Antionette (Laverdiere) LeBlanc and has lived in Auburn since 1969.

Mr. LeBlanc was a Quality Control Specialist 33 years for the Comm. Of Massachusetts Dept. of Transitional Assistance retiring in 2007. He was a U.S. Army veteran and continued his service in the Army National Guard. Gerry was a member of St. Joseph Church, Auburn, member and Past Exalted Ruler of the Auburn Elks, Lodge 2118. He also enjoyed going to the Auburn Senior Center.

His funeral will be held on Friday, June 28, 2024 with service and entombment at 12:00 PM in the Chapel of Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum, 162 Webster Street, Worcester. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers contributions in his memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105. DIRSA - MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton Street, Worcester is directing funeral arrangements.
