Brody R. Rocco, age 26, of Tewksbury, passed away Friday, June 21, 2024 at the Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington.
Born in Lowell on September 8, 1997, he was the beloved son of Donna M. Gath, of Salem, NH and Robert G. Rocco, of Tewksbury.
Brody was born with Cornelia De Lange Syndrome. Despite the limitations CDLS created Brody lived a sweet and simple life. Brody loved wagon rides, music, dancing, baths and all-day snacking. Brody loved his annual trips to Camp Allen. Brody had busy hands and swift feet. Brody loved his family and communicated with Brody sign gestures. His infectious laugh and brilliant smile touched the lives of people all over the world. Brody was our shining star and will continue to be our guiding light for all the days to come.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Faith R. Rocco, of Tewksbury: his stepfather, John Marsh, of Salem, NH: his stepmother, Beth (Harrington) Rocco, of Tewksbury. He was the maternal grandson of Marie Major, of Tewksbury and the late James Gath: paternal grandson of Anthony Rocco, of Tewksbury and the late Blanche Rocco: step- grandson of Marlene Gath, and Cindy Harrington and her late husband Ken: nephew of Lisa Frontain, of Tewksbury, Kevin Frontain, of Methuen, and the late Paul Rocco. He leaves his cousins, Cody, Zach, Katelyn, Lauren, and Lindsey: as well as many extended family members and friends.
Calling hours are Sunday, June 30th, from 2-6 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee Street, Tewksbury. His funeral procession will begin on Monday, July 1st, at 9 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. William’s Church, 1351 Main Street, Route 38, Tewksbury. Interment of his ashes will be held at a later date at the Tewksbury Cemetery.
