Susan M. Tibbert, 73

Dateline: Mansfield, MA

Susan M (Boldrighini) Tibbert, age 73, of Mansfield, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2024 surrounded by her loving family after courageously battling cancer for seven years. She was born in Boston, MA on August 26, 1950 and was a longtime resident of Mansfield, where she graduated high school and was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church.

She was the beloved wife and best friend of the late William F. Tibbert, Jr. to whom she was married for 54 years. She was the oldest daughter of the late Albert J. and Carol J. (Blevins) Boldrighini and was also the daughter of Margaret Boldrighini of Mansfield.

Prior to retiring, Susan worked in banking as a Senior Mortgage Underwriter for 25 years. She created and sustained lifelong friendships both at work and while enjoying her many hobbies such as softball, golf and motorcycling.

She is survived by her two devoted daughters, Theresa A. (Wright) Arguin and her husband Rick of Tennessee; Christine (Tina) Tibbert-Savage and her husband Michael of Norton. She was the cherished Nana to Victoria Tibbert, Jacqueline Wright, Alexandria Riveley, Brittany Wright, Jacob Tibbert, Benjamin Savage and Samuel Savage. Was “Nana Sue” to her great-grandchildren Mya, Taylor, Caleb, Emerson and Jaxon as well as Step-Nana to Jenna and Kayley.

Susan was a dear sister to Mark Boldrighini and wife Gladys of Littleton, Linda Keating and husband Jimmie of Sacramento, CA, Lisa Pelrine and husband Ray of Mansfield, Neal Boldrighini and wife Lynette of Mansfield, Lou Boldrighini and wife Susan of Pearland TX, Ed Troy and wife Kelly of Mansfield and the late Paula Gendron, who is survived by her husband Mark Gendron of California.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, June 28th from 4:00-8:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main Street, Mansfield.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 29th at 11:00 A.M.in Saint Mary’s Church, 330 Pratt Street (Route 106) Mansfield. Burial will follow at Saint Mary’s Cemetery in Mansfield.

Following the burial services all are invited back to the Rose Garden, on the premises of Saint Mary’s Church in Mansfield, for a continued celebration of Susan’s life.
