Sagamore Beach, MA - Carol A. (Williams) Horgan, 82, of Sagamore Beach and formerly of Hyannis and Worcester passed away peacefully in Beth Israel Hospital, Plymouth on Friday, June 21 after an illness.
Mrs. Horgan was married 48 years to the late Stephen P. Horgan who passed away in 2017. She is survived by a son, Stephen J. Horgan, and his wife, Heather of South Lake Tahoe, CA; a daughter, Rebecca A. Esip, and her husband Brandon of Sagamore Beach, MA; and her grandchildren, William, George, John, Grace, and Emma; and many nieces and nephews.
Carol was born in Worcester, daughter of the late John and Vida (Letourneau) Williams, and is predeceased by three sisters, Joanne Wall, Nancy Chase, and Judith Nordstrom.
Carol was known for her kind, funny, and loving nature. She cherished her time with friends and family. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her five grandchildren who brought her so much pride and happiness. She made each of them feel special and loved.
The funeral will be held on Friday, June 28 from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester with a funeral mass at 11 AM in Sacred Heart – St. Catherine of Sweden Church 600 Cambridge St. Burial will follow in Saint John’s Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 5 to 7 PM in the funeral home.
