Simone M. (Paradise) Walsh, 77, of Auburn, died Tuesday, April 16th, at home surrounded by her family.
She leaves her husband of 56 years, Thomas J. Walsh; two daughters, Jodi Walsh of Auburn and Jessica Frosch and her husband, Andrew, of Emerald Isle, NC; five grandchildren, Jeremy, Sara, Dylan, Owen, and Piper; two great-grandchildren, Iris and Wyatt; and extended family and friends. She was predeceased by two brothers, Robert and Francis “Frank” Paradise.
Simone was born in Worcester, the daughter of Sullivan and Madeline (Latour) Paradise, and graduated from the former High School of Commerce. She was a dedicated employee who devoted 20 years of her life to Gessner Corporation, retiring in 2012 and leaving a lasting impact on her colleagues and the company.
A faithful member of St. Joseph’s Church, Simone found solace and community in her spiritual beliefs. She cherished the time spent with her friends and particularly enjoyed dinners filled with laughter and camaraderie.
Simone’s greatest joy in life came from the moments she spent with her beloved family. She treasured every conversation, but none more than those shared over the phone with her daughter. Their bond of endless love and connection brought light to both of their lives.
Simone’s warmth, kindness, and love will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Funeral services will be held privately in St. Joseph’s Church. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester, is assisting the family with arrangements.
