Paula Dorfman, age 76, passed away peacefully from this world on June 20, 2024 following a sudden illness. A lifelong resident of Newton, she was the loving daughter of Casper and Agatha Dorfman and is survived by Elizabeth Curley, her devoted spouse of 20 years, and their faithful dog, Katie, and several cousins.
Paula was a travel agent for several years and recently retired. Her family and friends wish to thank the medical and support staff of Newton Wellesley Hospital for their support and care given during her brief hospitalization.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours at the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre St., West Roxbury on Friday, June 28th from 4-8pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, June 29th at 11am. Interment private. Following the service, guests are invited to join the family for a luncheon at the Boston Lodge of Elks, 1 Morrell St., West Roxbury. Donations in Paula’s memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
