Diane M. Gatanti, of Whitman, passed away on June 22, 2024.
Born in Boston, she was the daughter to the late Arthur Hines and Catherine (Vasil) Hines.
Diane was a life long Whitman resident. She was a graduate of Whitman-Hanson Regional High School, class of 1980.
Diane loved to draw and play cards. She loved also listening to music, along with going to the beach. Diane’s greatest love was to spend time with her family. She just loved being around her family.
Diane is survived by her mother, Catherine Hines of Whitman, her daughter Catherine McLaughlin-Cole and her husband Ryan Cole of Whitman, sister, Maryanne Candito and her husband Glenn of Halifax, sister, Paula Hines of Pembroke, sister, Dolores Hall of Whitman and her sister, Elaine Williams of Halifax. She is also survived by her three grandchildren, Collin McLaughlin, Lilly Cole, Callie Cole, all of Whitman. She also leaves her special nephew Sean Williams along with many nieces and nephews.
Visting hours will be held at the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Whitman, Route 58 at the rotary, on Wednesday, June 26th from 4-7pm. There will be a service to follow at 7pm. Burial will be private at a later date.
