Rose Robles, wife of the late Seymour Robles of Dallas, TX; the late John Mandra of Everett, and the late Peter A. Mucciarone of Franklin, and mother of the late Peter J. Mucciarone, died peacefully at her home in Norwood, on June 20, 2024.
She is survived by and will be sorely missed by her loving daughters DonnaLee Lane of Norwood and J. Lynda Bertone of Medway and her husband Anthony; her stepdaughter Patricia Badgers and husband Jerry of Las Vegas, NV; stepson Peter Robles and his wife Maridene Margolis of Plano, TX, and stepdaughter Joan Mancuso of Dedham.
Daughter of the late Francesco Taddeo and Antoinette (Nanni), Rose is the eldest of 13 children and is survived by three of her siblings: Ronald Taddeo of Franklin, Carol Ann Bonin of Northbridge and Edward Paul Taddeo of Uxbridge. Predeceased by her sisters Michelina Garrey, Olympia Pisani, Dorothea Thibeault and Annette Ransom; and brothers Americo, Francis, Christopher, Rocco and Alfio Taddeo.
Rose will be greatly missed by her grandchildren who she adored: Danielle Berejik and husband Philip, and Heath McKay and husband Ryan Tappin, Rose was ever grateful she had the opportunity to know her beloved greatgrandchildren Anthony, Michael and Sofia Berejik. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Rose attended Franklin schools, graduating with the Class of 1942. She subsequently earned credentials as a dental assistant and worked for many years in the offices of Drs. Vena and Lockwood. She also served as an executive secretary at both RCA and Digital Equipment Corp. and co-owned and operated Prestige Caterers while living in Florida.
Rose enjoyed ballroom dancing, cooking and entertaining family and friends. She was the quintessential hostess and touched the lives of everyone she met. She made friends everywhere she lived – from Franklin to Quincy to Natick and Norwood, to Plantation, FL, and back to Norwood. She was gracious and beautiful not only in appearance, but also in spirit. She will be sorely missed by all those she has left behind.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours in the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home Oteri 33 Cottage St., on Monday, June 24, 2024 from 4 to 7 p.m.
Her funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Church, One Church Square, Franklin, on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at 10:00 a.m.
Interment will follow at the parish cemetery.
