Cynthia B. Howard
Former Meadowview Nursing Home Aide
Cynthia B. (Healey) Howard, age 82, of Andover, formerly of Tewksbury, passed away at Belvidere Healthcare in Lowell on Thursday evening, June 13, 2024.
She was the beloved wife of Robert “Keith” Howard who passed away in 2020 and devoted mother of the late Pamela Ann Howard who passed away in 1967.
Cynthia was born in Fremont, NH on February 16, 1942, and was the daughter of the late Charles M. Healey and the late Bessie (Brown) Healey.
She was raised in Fremont, NH and attended local schools.
Prior to retiring, she worked as a nurse’s aide at the Meadowview Nursing Home in North Reading and was a volunteer at the Blaire House Nursing Home in Tewksbury.
Cynthia also volunteered her time at the Tewksbury United Methodist Church and for Community Teamwork in Lowell.
She enjoyed craft projects and spending time with family.
In recent years, she was affiliated with the Aldersgate Methodist Church in Chelmsford.
She will lovingly be remembered for warm and friendly personality and her passion to help others.
Cynthia is survived by three children, Robert K. Howard, Jr., of Andover, Kevin (Kage) Howard of Nashville, TN and Kimberly A. Sasser, of Pepperell: four grandchildren, Joshua, Keagan, and Jessica Sasser, and Azia Belliveau : one sister, Joline Gelbert, of Fremont, NH: 9 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
All are welcome to attend a graveside service on Friday, June 28th, at 11 a.m. to be held at the Tewksbury Cemetery, 172 East Street, Tewksbury., MA. The Howard family lot is located on C. Abbott Battles Avenue in the cemetery. Those planning to attend are asked to please meet at the cemetery.
