Karen A. (Sergi) Duquette, age 78, of Brockton, died unexpectedly on June 12, 2024 at Good Samaritan Medical Center. Born and raised in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late William F. G. and Phyllis C. (Cappiello) Sergi.
Karen had many interests. In her youth she loved to dance and she enjoyed anything to do with horses. Karen was well liked by other residents of Sullivan Towers for her socializing and volunteering. Time with family during holidays was special to her, but her best times were spent with her grandchildren.
Karen is survived by her children: Kimbly M. Benson of Bridgewater, William F. G. and Wendilynn Duquette of Raynham, Wendy A. Duquette of Stoughton and Jeffrey D. Duquette of Brockton. She was the grandmother of Jonathan and Matthew Benson, Jaclene Duquette and Jade Freyermuth and her husband Treavor. Karen was the great grandmother of Jaxon Benson, William Pimental and Benjamin Silva. She is survived by her sister Norrine M. Solari of Wilmington as well as by many nieces, a nephew and cousins.
A Memorial gathering will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton on Tuesday, July 2 from 9-11am, followed by a Funeral Service at 11am. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
