BELMONT ---- Michael Lawrence Bowles, 69, of Hoadley Road, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2024 at Concord Hospital-Laconia.
Bowles was born February 23, 1955, in Laconia, the son of Myron Oscar Bowles and Dorothy Marie (Lamontagne) Bowles.
He graduated from high school, served in the US Army, and worked as a concrete form carpenter for MASCON and TNL Concrete. He enjoyed riding on motorcycles and snowmobiles. He was a hard-working man. If there was a tree near by that needed to be cut down, he was already working on getting it down. Michael was a loyal family man who loved spending time with family and friends.
He leaves behind his wife, Janet (Chamberlin) Bowles of Belmont, NH; three sons, Charlie Bowles and his wife, Michelle, Fred Bowles and his wife, Geni, and Joshua Russell and his wife Christine; brother, Myron Bowles Jr; brother-in-law, Richard Ardine; four grandchildren, Jack Bowles, Anna Bowles, Colt Bowles, and Joshua Russell Jr; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; sister Donna Ardine; stepsister Cathy DuBois; grandparents, Oscar and Lenora Bowles; and uncle Roger Bowles.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at 2pm at NH State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH.
