Mrs. Jeannette Joseph was born on August 28th of 1948 to the late Thermilia Casimir and
Ephraim Joseph from Thomassique, Haiti.
On Saturday, June 15, 2024, Jeannette was called to rest at the age 75 surrounded by her
loving family. Jeannette, beloved wife of the late Seneque Charles, devoted mother of Carlos
Charles, Rony Charles, Guerby Charles, Franco Charles, Reginal Junior Charles, Marie
Antoinette Charles, Michloove Charles, Marie Danielle Charles, and Carme Augustin. Dear
sister of Raymond Joseph, Whitny Joseph, Maude Joseph, Pilliane Celestin, Piline Casimir,
Elvire Joseph, Renel Joseph, Renaud Joseph, Renande Joseph, and Beannelle Joseph. She
was loved by 26 cherished grandchildren and 5 adoring great-grandchildren. She left behind her
loving nieces, nephews, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, along with her cousins.
Jeannette left Haiti at the age of 50 years old and settled in Boston with some of her children,
MA to give her children a better life. Jeannette loved to cook, and preach the gospel. She was a
prayer warrior and faithful servant of God. Her passion was to help raise her grand children,
and continue preaching the Lord’s word. She also loved talking to family and friends. Jeannette
lived a happy, and fulfilling life surrounded by loved ones. Jeannette made sure we knew she
was at peace towards the end. When we asked her how she was doing, she said “I’m fine.”
Visitation will be held on Sunday July 7, 2024 in the Joseph Russo Funeral Home, 814 American
Legion Highway, Roslindale, MA from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. A Funeral service will be held on Monday July 8, 2024 from 9-11 AM in Temple Salem Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 222 Woodrow Ave, Dorchester, MA. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Hyde Park, MA. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
