Obituary

Ronald "Ron" M. Caminito, 66, of Lawrence, passed away at his home with his loving family by his side on June 9, 2024. Born in New York, Ron spent his formative years in Long Island. He served in the United States Air Force and earned the rank of Sergeant. He lived in the Merrimack Valley for the last twenty-five years. Ron retired as an IT Database Administrator and was a member of the New England Bible Church in Andover. From a young age, Ron exercised a knack and enjoyment in constructing electronics from tube radios and amplifiers to developing more complex systems. He enjoyed cooking and dancing as well as entertaining with his family and friends. Ron enjoyed roller-skating especially with his children and his niece, Morgan. Ron loved excursions with his wife, Anne, to the culinary trappings of Boston's North End and the unique seascape experience of Hampton Beach. Ron will be sorely missed by his wife, Anne Caminito of Lawence, his two daughters: Allison and her husband Adam Chmielewski of Harbor Springs, MI, Noelle and her husband Scott Smith of Portage, MI, his son, Thomas Caminito and his wife Yunny of Seoul, S. Korea, his sister, Denise and her husband Brad Kendall of Templeton, MA, and his brother, Joseph Orefice and his wife Anni of Palm Coast, FL., his two grandchildren, Victor and Nathan Chmielewski, and three nieces and his two stepsons, Dan Devine of Andover, and James Devine of Texas, and seven step-grandchildren. Ron will especially be missed by his beloved dog, Rocky.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Ronald on Friday, August 2, 2024, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am, at the Edgar J. Racicot Inc. Funeral Home, 1400 Broadway Rd., Dracut. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am at the Funeral home. The internment will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024, at 3:00 pm, at Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen St, Winchendon, MA 01475.
