MOULTONBOROUGH ---- Wesley Charles Carter, 77, of Long Island Road, passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2024.
Wesley was born on March 30, 1947, in Laconia, NH, the son of the late Allen Dearborn Carter and Beatrice Irene (Brown) Carter.
Wesley graduated in 1965 from Laconia High School. He worked for Malleable Iron and Goodwin Paper. He was a salesman, cabinet maker and delivery truck driver. Wesley enjoyed golf, basketball, Little League, softball, fishing, hunting and gardening. He loved involving young children in boating and fishing activities.
Wesley also loved riding his Harleys and often stated he was “proud to be associated with the best motorcycle club in the world”.
Wesley is survived by his wife, Deborah Ann (Kenney) Carter; son Chuck Carter and his wife Deb Carter; brother Allen Carter and his wife Donna Carter; sister Susan (Carter) McBey and her husband Gordon McBey; and several beloved nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his daughter Kelly Ann Carter, Jim and Theresa Hildreth, Harry (Buster) and Theresa Hildreth, Robert and Janet Hildreth, Norm Hildreth, Howard and Carol Hildreth.
There will be no calling hours.
Burial will be held on Sunday, June 30, 2024 at 1:00pm Union Cemetery, Academy Street, Laconia, NH.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
