Susan L. (Desper) Daniels 73, of Franklin, passed away, peacefully with family at her side, Wednesday June 12, 2024 at Hermitage Healthcare in Worcester following an illness. She was the beloved wife of Theodore W. "Ted" Daniels, with whom she shared 46 years of marriage.
Born January 27, 1951 in Milford a daughter of Charles and Eva (Hebard) Desper, she was a lifelong resident of Franklin.
Susan was raised and educated in Franklin and worked for Honey Dew Donuts in Franklin for over 35 years.
Susan was devoted to her family especially her grandchildren, which were her pride and joy, and enjoyed music, playing slots at the casino, crocheting, knitting and line dancing at the Franklin Senior Center.
She is survived by her children, Roxanne Desper, Elsie Yanski, Andrea Sundin and Carrie Daniels, her grandchildren, Chelsea Bradbury, Brooke Bradbury, Cheyenne Esposito, Kylieanna Slaten, Leilanni Locascio, Dyanna Locascio, Amber Daniels, siblings, Idamae McKay, Priscilla Guinard, Thomas Desper, Nancy White, Deborah McCarthy, Maryann Desper and Stanley Desper.
Susan was the mother of the late Heidi Esposito, and grandmother of the late Saige Bradbury, Paulix J. Yanski and sister of the late Charles W. Desper, Jr., Marjorie Scanlon, Phyllis Pupa, Dorothy Desper, Audrey Follis, Kenneth Desper, Irma Jean Desper, Rachel Mooney, Glenna Monteiro, Richard Desper and Linda Desper.
Also surviving are 8 great grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours Saturday June 22nd, in the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. from 2-4PM.
Her funeral service and interment will be held privately.
