FISHER, Ellen 85, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Resident of West Roxbury for over 55 years (formerly of Jamaica Plain). Beloved wife of the late Donald Fisher; loving mother of Karen and husband Danny McDonald of Braintree, Nancy and husband Michael Moran of Melrose, Billy Fisher of West Roxbury and Jo-Ann Fisher-Caruso of Mansfield; loving Nana of Taylor, Julia, Grace, Ani, Sean, Emma and Meghan; daughter of the late Cornelius and Bridget Keohane; sister of Mary Moynihan of West Roxbury and Nancy Ryan of Dedham and the late John Keohane. Survived by many nieces and nephews and friends. Ellen was a long time employee of the Telephone Company (Baby Bells to Verizon) in the payroll department. She lived for going down the Cape each summer with family and chaperoning CYO trips to Disney and all the variety shows at St. Theresa’s. She was a big fan of all Boston sports teams and loved attending any event that involved one of her grandchildren. She will best be remembered for her kind heart and gentle soul.
