George F. Dangredo, 90, of Millbury, died on Thursday, June 13th, surrounded by his loving family. He leaves his wife of 70 years, Rose (Paladino) Dangredo; a son, Michael Dangredo and his wife, Deborah of Charlton; six grandchildren, Cecile Dangredo, Michael G. Dangredo, Angela DeSilva, Nicole Dangredo, Chris Fowler, and John Moher; four great-grandchildren, Kayleigh Fedorisky, Alysa Fedorisky, Alexa DeSilva, and Angelo Sabatalo; and many nieces and nephews.
He was born in Worcester, the son of George D. Dangredo and Cecile (Brousseau) Essex. After graduating high school, George married the love of his life, his high school sweetheart, Rose and found their forever home in Millbury. He proudly owned and operated Advanced Pest Control for 20 years up until retirement in 1998. He found pure joy in the simple pleasures of life: sharing laughter with loved ones, exploring the cobblestone streets of Italy and Greece hand in hand with his cherished wife, and feeling the freedom of the open road beneath him. A devoted family man, George found his greatest joy in spending time with his loved ones. Whether it was a cozy evening at home or an exciting family vacation, he treasured every moment shared with his family. His warmth, laughter, and unwavering support were constants that enriched the lives of those around him. George also had a special bond with his 1988 Mustang. Cruising down open roads with the wind in his hair, he found solace and joy behind the wheel of his beloved car. Though he may have bid farewell to this world, his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were touched by his kindness, his laughter, and his unwavering love.
A visitation hour will take place on Monday, June 24th from 11:00am to 12:00pm in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Burial will immediately follow in St. John’s Cemetery, 260 Cambridge Street.
