GILFORD ---- John Udelhofen, 62, of Old Lake Shore Road, passed away at his home on Saturday June 8, 2024.
John was born on February 28, 1962, in Glendora, CA, the son of Keith Udelhofen and Bonnie (Jones) Mathieu.
He enjoyed his pets, reading, summer cookouts with family, motorcycle rides, learning pool and guitar in his earlier years, vacationing at the beaches of Maine and most recently found joy in helping those less fortunate.
As a long-term resident in the Lakes Region, he was a well-known staple in the retail and hospitality industry locally. He had a crazy, quirky personality and loved a good joke.
John is survived by his children, Jennifer Eaton and husband Daniel, Geoffrey Patterson and husband Frank, Tom Sanborn and wife Danielle, and Chris Sanborn; Six grandchildren Ripp Eaton, Katie Sanborn, Nick Sanborn, Chase Sanborn, Chris Sanborn and Kiana Sanborn; and a sister Karen Jones. In addition to his parents, John is predeceased by his beloved wife Nancy Leroux-Udelhofen and his sister Kathleen Dooley.
