Clara (Burton) Winston (80) of Brockton died June 10th in the Good Samaritan Medical Center.
She was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama daughter of the late James Burton and Mattie (Hill) Burton. Clara was a retired certified nurses assistant and enjoyed serving the public. She loved God, her church and socializing with her family and friends.
Clara is survived by 2 sons, James Burton of Boston and Darryel Burton of Alabama, 2 daughters, 1 step daughter, 1 son-in-law Patrice Burton and son-in-law Darryl Boween of Boston and Clarisse Burton deceased, 1 step daughter Andrea Louis of Brockton, (mother of the late Clarissa Burton), a brother Greg Burton of Canton and 5 sisters, LaVerne Burton, Loretta Burton and Nora Jean Burton all of Boston, Mary Burton of Georgia and Annie Burton of North Carolina.
Visitation in the Home of Funerarias Multi Cultural, 238 Court Street Brockton Sunday June 23rd from 5-8 pm.
A Memorial Service will take place in the Central Methodist Church, 65 West Elm Street Brockton Friday June 28th from 2-6 pm.
