David Harold Giddings, 63, of Tifton passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at his residence. A private graveside funeral service was held for Mr. Giddings at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 13, 2024, at Ty Ty First Baptist Church Cemetery, where he was laid to rest. The Rev. John Smith officiated.
Born July 1, 1960, in Tifton, Mr. Giddings was the son of the late John H. “Sonny” Giddings (1/9/2017) and Sylvia Jean Pollard Giddings (4/5/2002). He was also preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Julius V. Pollard (1/17/1980) and Minnie Lee Newell Pollard (1/15/2014); and his paternal grandparents, John Earl Giddings (1/14/1979) and Ruby Perry Giddings Beard (2/16/1994).
David was a 1978 graduate of Tift County High School; he was a member of Ty Ty First Baptist Church.
David is survived by one brother, Glenn Giddings of Tifton, and several cousins.
