Viola M. (Westling) Anuszczyk, 96, of Dartmouth, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at St. Luke's Hospital. She was the wife of the late Edmond J. Anuszczyk.
Mrs. Anuszczyk was born in Middleboro, daughter of the late Edward and Anne (Jardullo) Wallace and had resided in Dartmouth since 1982. Prior to retirement, she worked as a telephone supervisor for Lakeville Hospital for 35 years. She had served as poll clerk in Dartmouth and volunteered for many years in the Dartmouth Town Clerk's Office. She also gave her time at Buttonwood Senior Center, New Bedford. She was a Notary Public and loved to read. Her greatest joy was spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include her daughter: Terry Lynn Melanson and her husband Robert of Dartmouth; 3 grandsons: Joseph Anuszczyk, Nicholas Melanson and Christopher Melanson; and 4 great grandchildren: Jacob, Jaxon, Xander and Jameson Anuszczyk.
She was the mother of the late Edmond L. Anuszczyk and sister of the late Shirley Dionne, Ann Gabrey, Beverly Dupont, John Westling and Gloria Quintal.
Memorial Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited will be Monday, July 15, 2024 at St. Julie Billiart Church, Dartmouth at 10:00 A.M.
Interment to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Middleboro.
