Robert (Bob) Gerard Pelletier, 75, of Andover, MA passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2024. Robert was born on December 8, 1948 to Joseph (Jerry) Pelletier and Mary (Ruth) Pelletier (Gaudes) in Lawrence, MA. He graduated from Central Catholic High School and served 3 years in the U.S. Navy during which time he married his high school sweetheart and wife of 54 years, Linda A. Pelletier (Robert) also from Lawrence, MA, on December 28, 1968.
After the Navy, Bob made his career as a firefighter for the Lawrence Fire Department where he retired from in 2002. Linda, who recently passed away on October 6, 2023, was an only child and wanted a big family. Together, they went on to raise 5 children. Family was the most important thing for both of them, as they enjoyed their 8 grandchildren by taking them camping, attending their school functions, sporting events and countless days baby-sitting. The hole left by their absence will be impossible to fill.
Bob and Linda leave behind their son, Robert Jr. and wife, Beth; daughter, Laurie Stadler and husband, Jason; son Andy and wife, Jen; son, Jason and wife, Savana; and daughter, Melissa.
They also leave behind their 8 treasured grandchildren: Nick and wife, Emili; Maya, Chris, Addy, Olivia, Abby, Sophie and AJ.
