Patti -Jo (Woodsum) Seaman, 65, of Medway formerly of Framingham, died June 9 at her home following a short battle with cancer.
She was the beloved partner of Sharon Mann of Medway.
Born in Framingham on December 26,1958, the daughter of the late Maurice and Katherine (McNeill) Woodsum, she was predeceased by her siblings Charlie Woodsum, Linda Christian, Deborah Christian and Roberta McPherson.
Patti-Jo had been a talented professional artist, her subject matter consisted mostly of nature and painting in the wild. An avid birder, Patti-Jo could be found most days walking the trails at the Broadmoor Wildlife Sanctuary in Natick, MA.
Patti-Jo was a very giving person, she would always say “That’s what families do” when opening her home to extended family or giving advice when it was needed. And her cooking was second to none.
In addition to her partner Sharon, she is survived by her son Thomas Woodsum and his wife Carrie-Lyn of Worcester, MA and grandson Jack Woodsum of Worcester. Patti also leaves behind many nieces & nephews; aunts & uncles and cousins.
A celebration of Patti’s life will be held on Wednesday June 19 in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home (ww.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 3 Barber Street, Medway from 4:30-6:30 with a short Memorial Service at 6pm.
