Michael Anthony DiFronzo, age 61, of Somerville, MA and North Myrtle Beach, SC passed away on Tuesday, June 4th. Born and raised in Somerville, he was the son of the late Peter J. and Audrey R. (Vannelli) DiFronzo. Michael was a graduate of St. Clements High School and Northeastern University. He has lived in South Carolina for the past 20 years and was employed as a real estate broker.
Michael was the dear brother of Michele Lindsey and her husband Steven of Tewksbury, and Tracy Olson and her husband Ken of Acton. He was the cherished uncle of Marissa, Nicole, Trevor, Jack, Liam and Michaela, and dear friend of Elaine Trunfio of South Carolina, the Brady family of Marshall Islands, Melanie Kerr of Massachusetts, and the Marcello family of California. Michael is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Michael was known for his gentle nature, kindness, and generosity. Throughout his life, Michael found joy in exploring the world, from Spain to Aruba to the Marshall Islands to Egypt, and many trips up and down the east coast. He cherished these moments, especially when shared with loved ones.
Michael founded and operated a computer consulting business before moving to South Carolina, where he thrived in the real estate business. He found his fulfillment and purpose helping others while forming connections and making new friends. Michael’s legacy lives on in the hearts of those he touched with his warmth, compassion and fierce love for his family and friends.
A memorial service will be held in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Tuesday, June 18th at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with Michael’s family from 9 AM through 11 AM, followed by a service in the funeral home and burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
