Rosemary T. Emmons

Rosemary T. (Wade) Emmons, 90, of Anderson passed away on June 8, 2024 following an extended illness.
She was born on June 20, 1933 in Anderson to Elbert and Mary Ellen (Tillett) Wade. She graduated in the class of 1951 and was the valedictorian at St. Mary's High School. She was a homemaker.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She enjoyed painting, sewing, crossword puzzles and playing in her euchre and bridge clubs.
She is survived by her seven children, Duane (Margaret) Emmons of Texas, Karen (Tony) Mullet of Lapel, Daniel (Michele) Emmons of Georgia, Dale Emmons of Fortville, Julie (Barry) Donovan of Daleville, Laura Emmons of Lapel and Glen (Lisa) Emmons of Colorado; 22 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George B. Emmons in 2014; son, James Emmons; a daughter, Linda Gillespie; a sister, Joanne Frossard and a brother, Bernard Wade.
Memorial service at 12 noon on Friday, June 14, 2024 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Ned Clark officiating. A private burial will take place at East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until noon on Friday at the funeral home.
