Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear brother, brother-in-law, nephew, uncle & great(est) uncle, Thomas Dale Howard, otherwise known to his relentlessly chiding family as Tommy Lou.

Thomas departed this world too soon, on June 6, 2024, after a lifetime of spreading joy and very loud, boisterous laughter. He was notorious for his knowledge of “everything” on the planet, his huge and giving heart and his unending generosity towards others. Thomas leaves behind a legacy of kindness, unselfishness, a great giggle, an impressive mental catalog of all the best TV shows and movies “you just have to watch”, creative Elf-on-a-Shelf photography, and some really good boxes (you never know when you’re going to need a good box). We had the honor of working together as a crew of five at Dean Dairy, a memory we all treasure, along with the wafting smell of waffle cones. He is already greatly missed and it’s unfathomable that we have to live without him. We love you to the moon and back Tommy!

Thomas is predeceased by his parents Ann Lorraine and Robert Howard, Sr. He is survived by his siblings, Christine Howard and her wife Gail of Acton, Robert Howard and his wife Caroline of Lowell, Cheryll Pidgeon and her husband Rick of Bourne, and Warren Howard and his wife Ginger of Wells, Maine. Thomas is also loving uncle to Krista (Pidgeon) Toms, Kevin Pidgeon, Jackson Howard, Cassidy Howard and Allison Howard. He is great uncle to Mia, Wyatt, Hart and Tucker.
