Alberto Ferreira (61) of Brockton died June 8th in the Accent Care Inpatient Hospice Center, Milton. He was the loving husband of Maria Varela of Brockton.
He was born in Son Francisco, Praia, Cabo Verde son of the late Hilario Ferreira and Maria Nascimsnto Dos Santos. Alberto was a baker by trade and a communicant of St. Edith Stein Church. He was the provider for his family and enjoyed watching soccer.
In addition to his wife he is survived by 2 sons, Edmilson Ferreira of Brockton and Dimas Ferreira of France, a daughter Nireida Varela of Brockton, 3 grandchildren, 3 brothers, Porfirio Dos Santos, Hilario Ferreira and Jaoazinnho Ferreira, 2 sisters, Antonzinho Dos Santos and Cesaltina Dos Santos Ferreira and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, 238 Court Street Brockton Wednesday June 12th from 5-8 pm.
Services in the Funeral Home Thursday June 13th at 10 am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Edith Stein Church, 71 E Main Street Brockton at 12 noon. Burial to follow in Melrose Cemetery, 88 N Pearl Street Brockton.
