Ronald J. Doiron, 76, of Londonderry, NH, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2024 in Colonial Poplin Nursing Home, Fremont, NH with his loving wife of 50 years, Linda, by his side. He was born on April 27, 1948 in Methuen, MA, a son of the late Laurea and Antoinette (Grenier) Doiron.
Ronald is survived by his loving wife, Linda (Pellerin) Doiron of Londonderry; two daughters, Stephanie Bellino of Wilton, CT, and Kimberly Masson of Londonderry; five grandchildren; Tyler, Liam, Luke, Sadie and Jesse; five brothers, Larry Doiron of Pelham, NH, Richard Doiron of Biddeford, ME, Walter Doiron of Fernandina Beach, FL, Arthur Doiron of Lawrence, MA, and Dennis Doiron of Milton, NH; his sister, Loretta Doiron of Hampton, NH; as well as several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog Casper.
Ron had a strong work ethic and was always willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed it. He had many passions, including watching the Chicago Bears, listening to Neil Diamond, Journey, and Abba, but most of all, he had an incredible talent with his wood working hands. To his family, he was the original Macgyver. Even though he was a quiet man, he found comfort and peace when looking from afar and watching his family and friends laugh and make memories together. One of his favorite places to visit was the ocean, more specifically, Salisbury Beach. Ron always enjoyed a hot cup of coffee, wearing his “Ron” work shirt, and his service in the Coast Guard.
Ron was a strong fighter, but he is now sailing on a journey to shores that we cannot see. He is free from pain and floating peacefully with his blue eyes reflecting off the ocean.
Following cremation, calling hours will be held on Thursday, June 13th from 5:00pm-7:00pm in the Peabody Funeral Home & Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 14th at 10:30am in St. Mark The Evangelist Parish, 1 South Road, Londonderry. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Ron’s name to the Brain Injury Association of America, Home Helpers in Londonderry, NH; Colonial Poplin Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility, and Harborside Hospice.
