Lea Marie Ferlito, age 49, of Medford passed away on Thursday, June 6th at Massachusetts General Hospital of Boston. Raised and educated in Medford, she was the daughter of Joseph C. Ferlito and the late Geraldine P. (Guiggio) Ferlito. Lea was a longtime Medford resident. She was a good mother, and graciously cared for her own mother, uncle and father, all of whom depended on her.
Lea was the devoted mother of Nicholas Ferlito, and the dear sister of Joseph C. Ferlito and his wife Luisa. She is also survived by her cherished niece and nephew, Taylor and Christopher Ferlito.
Visiting hours have been respectfully omitted. A memorial mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, on Tuesday, June 18th at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with interment at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
