BURLINGTON, VT ---- Mark Allen Denio, 47, passed suddenly in Danville, VT on Saturday, May 25, 2024.
Mark was born December 11, 1975 on the Naval Submarine Base in Groton, CT to Stanley E. Denio and Gail J. (Shawney) Denio.
Mark was always very physically active in gymnastics, judo, skateboarding, Little League, Cub Scouts and snowboarding (he was an instructor at Gunstock). He was an avid fisherman and motorcyclist, as well as being a member of the Masons.
He was a graduate of Laconia Academy and Community College of Vermont. Mark was employed as a consultant. He was a peer coach.
Mark is survived by his mother, Gail J. Denio of Laconia, NH; his brother, Adam Denio of Tilton, NH; his uncle, Sylvanus Denio of Lyndonville, VT; his step-brother, Joshua Denio of Maine; his fiancée, Rebecca Hartwell of Burlington, VT, as well as great aunts, uncles and cousins. Mark was predeceased by his father, Stanley; his grandparents, Henry and Mildred Denio of Passumpsic, VT, and Howard and Joan Shawney of Danville, VT; and his uncle, Steven Shawney of Northwood, NH.
Mark will be missed by many for his charm and wit.
Calling Hours will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024, from 2:00pm-4:00pm, in the Carriage House at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home,164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH 03246.
There will be a Celebration of Life held at a later date in Burlington, VT.
