Margaret E. (Kingman) Bothelo, 90, of Westport, passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was wife of the late Joseph Bothelo.
Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Chester A. and Ruth F. (Hardy) Kingman, she lived in Westport for most of her life. She was a Communicant of St. John the Baptist Church, Westport. Mrs. Bothelo loved gardening, baking and spending time with her family. Her greatest joy was taking care of children after school and all thru the summer, many of whom are still part of her extended family.
Survivors include her daughter: Viola M. Abreu and her husband Bruce of Westport; a granddaughter: Kimberly Urban and her husband Scott; and several nieces and nephews.
She was sister of the late Elizabeth Barclay, William Kingman, Helen Tremblay, Chester Kingman, Edward Kingman and Robert Kingman.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Rachel, Marie and Chaplain Susan from Southcoast V.N.A. Hospice for all of their care and compassion.
Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited will be Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at St. John the Baptist Church, Westport at 11: 00 A.M.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 9 - 10:30 A.M. prior to the Mass at the Potter Funeral Home.
Interment will be in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
