Carole M. (Burke) Levy, a lifelong resident of Somerville, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. She was 81 years of age.
Carole was born in Lowell on November 15, 1942, a daughter of the late Thomas E. Burke and Gertrude (Delaney) Burke. She grew up in Somerville her entire life where she was educated throughout the Somerville Public School system. Carole worked as a presser at Wayside Cleaners in Newton for over 50 years. She was a member of the Malden Elks Lodge # 965 B.P.O.E. and enjoyed her friendship with Carol and Ann whom she traveled to many conventions with the Elks especially to Hawaii, Florida and The Irish Village in Cape Cod. She was proud of her Irish heritage and enjoyed country and western.
Carole is the beloved daughter of the late Thomas E. Burke and Gertrude (Delaney) Burke. She is the beloved sister of the late Jackie Burke, Ronnie Burke, Thomas Burke and Elaine. She is the loving aunt to her many nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by her devoted friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Carole's visiting hours on Monday, June 10, 2024, from 2 P.M. to 5 P.M. with her Funeral Service at 4:30 P.M. in The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown. Her burial will be private.
