Obituary

Roland A. Bibeau peacefully passed away June 3, 2024. He was born in Lawrence MA to Wilfrid and Aurore Bibeau and grew up in Sacred Heart Parish and the French-Canadian community. Roland graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1947. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict. He worked as a pressman for the Lowell Sun until his retirement. He loved his family very much and enjoyed keeping track of his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Roland was predeceased by his beloved wife Helena L. (Beaulieu) Bibeau in 1976. He is survived by their loving children Janet Bibeau and her partner Edward Fennessey of Braintree, MA, Joanne Bibeau and her companion Barry Posin of Braintree, MA, Paul Bibeau and his wife Linda of Yorba Linda, CA, DonnaMarie and her husband Richard Gorzela of Billerica, and Stephen Bibeau of Amesbury; adoring grandchildren Stephanie and her husband Nikita Petrenko, Brittany and her husband Aaron Lamon, Hillary and her husband Cameron Forsberg, Jeremy Bibeau and his wife Megan, Elise Gorzela, Raymond Gorzela, Adam Bibeau and his wife Abby, Lillian Bibeau, and Gavin Bibeau; and cherished great grandchildren Vianne, Archie and Henry.

In 1992 he married Joan (Rivard) Tremblay, his dear companion until her death in 2021. He is survived by her four children, seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
He was also predeceased by his sister Pauline and his brother Maurice. He is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Roland's funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Augustine Church, 43 Essex Street, Andover on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at 10 AM and live streamed at staugustineparish.org/live-stream/ Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Calling hours will be held in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover on Friday, June 7, 2024, from 4 to 8 PM. Interment will be held in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Andover.

Dad/Pépère/Grand Pépère will be missed for his love, warmth and joy.
