Smith passed away on May 29th 2024, at the age of 63 surrounded by his loved ones. Smith is survived by his five children: Christy Casimir , Smithy Casimir and his wife Guerlaine Casimir, Christopher Casimir, Steeve Casimir, And Janny Casimir. He is also survived by his two
grandchildren Gianna, and Sarená. Smith was also a loving brother , uncle, God father and was a great friend to those who enjoyed his presence.
Smith Casimir was born on July 5th 1960 to Oculous (Papa Kiki) And Luiciana (Mama Kiki) Casimir in Port - Au - Prince ,Haiti. In July of 2013 Smith Migrated to the united states and made Boston Massachusetts his home. In 2014 Smith Decided to move to Orlando Florida taking his two sons with him. While living in Orlando Florida Smith worked in the kitchen at Disney world and resided there until he was convinced to move back to Dorchester Massachusetts. In Smith's final years he lived in Upstate New York and then Brockton Massachusetts to stay close to his children and grandchildren.
Smith was always big on family, respect, and loved everyone he met. He was also a big fan of Bob Marley and was a free spirit at heart, he was a loving grandfather, who loved his grandchildren very very much. Smith was a kind hearted person and loved to give whatever he had, even though he had his issues he was someone that loved everyone even if they were strangers.
Sadly, Smith was diagnosed with cancer in January of 2024. His children and siblings stayed by his side making sure he received the best care possible. During the last days of his life, Smith was still being the free spirited, giving, loving person he always was and will be remembered for being a good father, grandfather brother, uncle , God father , good friend and most importantly being remembered for his contagious smile.
Family and friends are invited to attend viewing hours on Saturday June 15, 2024, from 8-9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 1548 Blue Hill Avr, Mattapan, MA. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, 45 Fairview Avr, Hyde Park, MA.
